What Should a Marketing Agency Deliver Every Month? The Content Flight and Wingspan

Quick Answer: A month of real agency work has two halves. The first is everything published for you: blog posts that answer customer questions, email campaigns, social posts, short video, Google Business Profile posts and any ad design, planned on a calendar you can see. The second is everything done to make you findable and trusted: reviews requested and answered, your Google profile and listings kept accurate, rankings reviewed, technical faults fixed, one page improved. If a proposal cannot tell you the count of each, or measures itself in impressions, keep shopping.

Why is this so hard to get a straight answer on?

Because most agency pricing is built to be compared on price and not on scope. “Content marketing” and “SEO” are line items with no unit. The client sees invoices; the agency sees hours. Nobody sees the deliverable.

We publish ours. Here is what a month contains at each of our two managed tiers, so you can compare any proposal against it, including ours.

Half one: the Content Flight

Everything we produce and publish for you in a month, researched once and multiplied across channels.

Essentials ($2,950 a month):

  • One blog post, 800 to 1,500 words, answering a real customer question and linking into a service page.
  • Two email campaigns: one from the blog, one seasonal or promotional.
  • Twelve social posts across two platforms, on branded templates.
  • One short video from footage you supply, captioned and branded.
  • Two Google Business Profile posts.
  • One print or ad design each quarter, delivered for you to place.
  • An annual marketing calendar planned by quarter. Next month’s content is ready for your review by the 14th.

Agency ($4,950 a month) is the premium build of the same list: two blog posts (one a quarter is a 2,000-word pillar), four segmented emails with a custom template and subject-line testing, twenty social posts with eight custom-designed and four boosted, four videos from a monthly shot list, weekly profile posts, one ad a month with the publisher relationship handled, and a monthly review call with the strategist who owns your plan.

Half two: Wingspan

Everything we do to make you findable and trusted. We measure it in three parts, and every managed client gets a reading at onboarding and each quarter.

Be Found. Monthly review of the searches that matter, Google Business Profile kept accurate, listings consistent, technical audit (quarterly at Essentials, monthly at Agency), one existing page improved a quarter at Essentials, two a month plus a new page each quarter at Agency. Agency also gets the monthly AI visibility protocol: your top questions run through ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Gemini, with named-rate and cited-rate tracked.

Be Heard. The Content Flight above, and whether it is being seen: reach, opens, engagement, and which pages the search engines and AI engines are actually citing.

Be Trusted. Every Google review answered within 48 hours at Essentials; every relevant profile at Agency. Review requests automated after every job. Reputation monitoring at Agency.

What does the report show?

Leads and revenue by source, month over month. Google Business Profile calls, direction requests and website taps. Search Console clicks and impressions, including the new AI surfaces. Review count, rating, velocity and days since last review. For Agency, the AI visibility protocol and a pipeline review with you.

Not sessions. Not impressions on their own. Not “engagement” without a definition.

What questions should you ask any agency?

  1. How many of each thing will you publish for me next month, and when will I see it before it goes out?
  2. Who answers my reviews, how fast, and in whose voice?
  3. What do you fix on my site each month, and how will I know?
  4. Which numbers will be on the report, and which of them are leads?
  5. Do I own the content, the website and the data if I leave?

If the answers are specific, you are talking to a real operation. If they are not, you are buying hours.

We wrote the whole thing down on the programs page, prices included. That is on purpose.
